Automatic baudrate detection and automatic data direction control (ADDC) are supported, making configuration-free RS-485 communication possible. The TCC-80I version also features 2.5 kV optical isolation to protect connected devices from surges and ground loop issues. A dedicated LED indicator verifies sufficient power from the RS-232 port.
