The Moxa TCC-80 and TCC-80I media converters are compact and robust serial converters designed to bridge RS-232 with RS-422/485. The TCC-80I adds 2.5 kV isolation to protect devices against electrical surges, ground loops, and interface damage.

The automatic data direction control (ADDC) feature allows RS-485 signals to switch direction without any software configuration. A built-in 120-ohm termination resistor ensures signal stability over long distances. The LED power indicator helps verify if port power is sufficient—no multimeter needed.
