The Moxa OBU-102 Series optical fiber bypass units provide an essential bypass relay function for fiber-based Ethernet networks. In linear topologies, a single node failure or power loss can isolate downstream devices. With OBU-102, the failed node is automatically bypassed, allowing data to continue flowing through the rest of the network without interruption.

Supporting Fast, Gigabit, and 10 Gigabit Ethernet over SC, ST, or LC connectors, the OBU-102 integrates easily into existing networks. The ultra-low power consumption (only 0.72 W), redundant DC power inputs, and rugged metal housing make it ideal for industrial environments.
