The NPort 6250-M-SC (Multimode) and NPort 6250-S-SC (Singlemode) models are robust and secure serial-to-Ethernet device servers tailored for long-distance fiber optic communication. Designed for high-security applications, they feature TLS 1.2 and SSHv2 encryption and comply with IEC 62443 cybersecurity standards.

With SC-type fiber connectors, these units can transmit data up to 4 km (Multimode) or 40 km (Singlemode), making them ideal for distributed automation, traffic control, and remote system monitoring. The 64 KB serial port buffer ensures data reliability even during temporary Ethernet disconnections and can be expanded using an SD card.
