The Moxa INJ-24-T is an industrial PoE+ injector designed for power supply and data transmission over a single Ethernet cable. It is specifically designed for use in demanding industrial environments where reliable and robust network power supply is required. The device enables the provision of PoE power according to the IEEE 802.3af/at standards, allowing it to supply energy-intensive end devices such as IP cameras, WLAN access points or industrial controls with up to 30 W. The maximum total power is also 30 W, with the energy being transmitted to the connected device via the PoE output port.

Functions and equipment in detail

The device features two RJ45 ports: one data port and one PoE output port, both supporting 10/100/1000BaseT(X). The functions Auto-Negotiation and Auto-MDI/MDI-X ensure automatic adaptation to the speed and cabling of the connected device. The PoE pin assignment follows Mode B (Midspan) on pins 4, 5, 7 and 8, ensuring compatible power supply for PoE-capable end devices. Power supply is via a removable 3-pole terminal block, enabling flexible and secure connection to the power network.

The operating temperature of the -T model ranges from -40 to 75 °C, enabling use in extreme environments.
