The IMC-21GA Series media converters are high-performance, entry-level devices designed to convert Gigabit Ethernet to fiber in industrial applications. These converters enable seamless conversion from 10/100/1000BaseT(X) copper to 100/1000Base-SX/LX fiber or via an SFP slot, providing maximum deployment flexibility.

With support for Energy-Efficient Ethernet (IEEE 802.3az) and 10K jumbo frames, the IMC-21GA Series combines high-speed data transmission with power savings. The built-in Link Fault Pass-Through (LFPT) feature improves network reliability by forwarding link errors. All models undergo a full burn-in test and can operate reliably across a wide temperature range of -40 to 75°C (for -T models).

Housed in a compact metal DIN-rail mountable casing with dual power inputs, these converters are ideal for rugged industrial environments.
