The Moxa EDS-518A Series provides rugged, industrial-grade managed switches that offer high performance and superior network reliability. These switches feature 18 ports in total—16 Fast Ethernet ports (10/100BaseT(X)) and 2 Gigabit combo ports that support either RJ45 or 100/1000BaseSFP connections. Engineered with Turbo Ring and Turbo Chain redundancy (recovery time < 20 ms @ 250 switches), the EDS-518A ensures consistent, high-speed backbone communication for mission-critical systems.

In addition to its network redundancy capabilities, the series offers a wealth of management tools and protocols, industrial protocol support (Modbus TCP, EtherNet/IP, PROFINET), and advanced security features including IEEE 802.1X, SSH, HTTPS, and TACACS+. Network administrators can easily configure and manage the switches via CLI, web interface, Telnet, or the ABC-01 USB auto-backup unit.
