he Moxa EDS-508A-SS-SC-80-T is a rugged industrial managed Ethernet switch featuring six 10/100BaseT(X) RJ45 ports and two 100BaseFX single-mode fiber SC connectors designed for long-distance transmission up to 80 km. It is built to operate in harsh environments with a wide temperature range of -40 to 75 °C.

With Turbo Ring and Turbo Chain redundancy technologies, the switch offers ultra-fast recovery times of less than 20 ms for up to 250 switches. It also supports STP, RSTP, and MSTP for additional fault tolerance.

The switch offers robust cybersecurity features including IEEE 802.1X, HTTPS, SSH, RADIUS, and TACACS+. It supports industrial protocols such as EtherNet/IP and Modbus TCP, and is PROFINET-compatible. Advanced networking includes VLAN support, QoS, IGMP snooping, and port trunking.
