The Moxa EDS-508A Series consists of rugged 8-port managed Ethernet switches designed for high-availability industrial networks in harsh environments. With Turbo Ring and Turbo Chain technologies, the switches provide recovery times of less than 20 ms for up to 250 devices. Additional redundancy is ensured via STP, RSTP, and MSTP.

Security features include TACACS+, SNMPv3, IEEE 802.1X, HTTPS, SSH, and MAC-based port locking. Flexible management is supported via web browser, CLI, Telnet, serial console, Windows utility, and the ABC-01 module. MXstudio integration enables intuitive visual network control.

The switches support VLANs, QoS, port trunking, IGMP snooping, bandwidth control, and automatic warnings via email or relay output. They are compatible with PROFINET, EtherNet/IP, and Modbus TCP protocols, making them ideal for complex industrial automation networks.
