The Moxa EDS-508A Series includes high-performance 8-port managed Ethernet switches designed for industrial applications that require maximum reliability, redundancy, and security. Turbo Ring and Turbo Chain technologies enable recovery times under 20 ms for up to 250 switches. Additional redundancy is supported through STP, RSTP, and MSTP protocols.

Robust security is built in, with support for TACACS+, SNMPv3, IEEE 802.1X, HTTPS, and SSH. The switches can be managed via web browser, CLI, Telnet, serial console, Windows utility, or ABC-01. MXstudio support allows easy visualized network management.

The switches are compatible with EtherNet/IP, Modbus TCP, and PROFINET industrial protocols. IGMP snooping, VLANs, QoS, port trunking, and bandwidth control enhance performance and flexibility. Alerts can be sent via email and relay output to ensure timely response to network anomalies.
