The Moxa EDS-505A Series consists of robust 5-port managed Ethernet switches engineered for high-reliability networking in industrial environments. With advanced redundancy technologies like Turbo Ring and Turbo Chain (recovery time < 20 ms for up to 250 switches), as well as support for STP/RSTP/MSTP, the switches ensure continuous network uptime.

For enhanced network security, the switches offer TACACS+, SNMPv3, IEEE 802.1X, HTTPS, and SSH. Network management is streamlined via web browser, CLI, Telnet/serial console, Windows utility, or the ABC-01 configuration module. MXstudio support enables intuitive visual management of the entire industrial network.

Designed for harsh environments, the switches operate in temperatures from -40 to 75 °C. Additional intelligent features include DHCP Option 82, PROFINET compatibility, port-based VLANs, IGMP snooping, QoS controls, and bandwidth management, making them ideal for complex automation networks.
