The EDS-408A Series is a line of 8-port industrial managed Ethernet switches designed for demanding automation and control applications. These switches deliver robust network infrastructure and advanced management features such as Turbo Ring and Turbo Chain, providing rapid network recovery (under 20 ms with up to 250 switches) and support for RSTP/STP protocols. Network management is convenient via web browser, CLI, Telnet, serial console, Windows utility, or the external configuration tool ABC-01.

With integrated support for PROFINET, EtherNet/IP, and Modbus TCP protocols, these switches are ideal for use in industrial control environments. Efficient network management is further enhanced with features such as IGMP Snooping, VLAN (port-based and IEEE 802.1Q), QoS, port mirroring, and bandwidth control. The devices also support SNMPv1/v2c/v3 for different levels of network management security and are fully compatible with MXstudio for visual network administration.
