The Moxa EDS-408A Series consists of rugged, industrial-grade 8-port managed Ethernet switches designed for demanding environments such as factory automation, transportation, and utilities. These switches combine high availability, protocol flexibility, and ease of management – including PROFINET and EtherNet/IP support (model-dependent).

With Turbo Ring and Turbo Chain (recovery time < 20 ms at up to 250 switches) and RSTP/STP, the EDS-408A ensures strong network resilience. VLAN support (IEEE 802.1Q, port-based), GVRP, and IGMP Snooping provide efficient network segmentation. Management is enabled via web interface, CLI, Telnet, serial console, Windows utility, or the ABC-01 module. MXstudio support enhances visual monitoring.
