The Moxa EDS-405A Series consists of compact, managed 5-port Ethernet switches designed for industrial networking environments. Built for automation systems that demand high reliability and efficient management, these switches integrate Turbo Ring™ and Turbo Chain™ technologies, offering sub-20 ms recovery for networks with up to 250 switches. RSTP/STP is also supported for standard redundancy setups.

Advanced networking capabilities include IGMP Snooping, Quality of Service (QoS), IEEE 802.1Q VLAN, and port-based VLAN, enabling optimized traffic control and segmentation. These switches are easily manageable via web interface, CLI, Telnet, serial console, Windows utility, or via the ABC-01 configuration adapter.

Specific models support PROFINET or EtherNet/IP out of the box, ensuring quick integration into industrial protocols. The MXstudio software suite enables intuitive, visualized configuration and network monitoring.
