Moxa EDS-208A Series – Compact 8-Port Ethernet Switches for Industrial Applications

The EDS-208A Series from Moxa delivers compact and rugged unmanaged Ethernet switches equipped with up to 8 ports of 10/100BaseT(X) and optional 100BaseFX fiber ports via SC or ST connectors in either multi-mode or single-mode variants. Designed for industrial networking, these switches support dual 12/24/48 VDC power inputs with redundancy, operate in extreme temperatures (as low as -40°C), and feature an IP30-rated aluminum enclosure, making them suitable for maritime, transportation, and hazardous environments (Class I Div. 2, ATEX Zone 2).

Supporting plug-and-play installation, Auto-Negotiation, MDI/MDI-X, and full/half-duplex operation, the switches also offer DIP-switch configurable broadcast storm protection. Each unit undergoes 100% burn-in testing to ensure reliability in mission-critical applications.
