Moxa EDS-208A Series – Compact 8-Port Ethernet Switches for Industrial Applications

The EDS-208A Series from Moxa offers rugged, unmanaged Ethernet switches designed for demanding industrial environments. Supporting up to 8 ports, the models include combinations of 10/100BaseT(X) RJ45 copper and 100BaseFX fiber optic connections, with SC or ST connectors, and available in multi-mode or single-mode.

With redundant 12/24/48 VDC power inputs, a sturdy IP30-rated aluminum housing, and certifications for hazardous locations, transportation, and marine environments (e.g., ATEX Zone 2, Class I Div. 2, EN 50121-4, NEMA TS2, DNV/LR/ABS/NK), the EDS-208A series is ideal for mission-critical applications. The -T models are rated for a wide -40 to 75 °C operating temperature range.

A DIP switch enables broadcast storm protection, safeguarding the network from overload. Each unit is subjected to a 100% burn-in test to ensure industrial-grade reliability.
