Moxa EDS-205A Series – Compact, Rugged 5-Port Ethernet Switches for Industrial Networks

The Moxa EDS-205A Series includes compact, unmanaged 5-port Ethernet switches tailored for industrial automation environments. Supporting 10/100BaseT(X) RJ45 ports and optional 100BaseFX fiber ports (multi-mode or single-mode, SC or ST), the series provides flexible copper and fiber connectivity in harsh conditions.

With redundant 12/24/48 VDC power inputs, an IP30-rated aluminum housing, and certifications for hazardous locations (Class I Div. 2, ATEX Zone 2), transportation systems (EN 50121-4, NEMA TS2), and marine applications (DNV/LR/ABS/NK), the switches are ideal for mission-critical networks. The -T models operate in extreme environments from -40 to 75 °C.

DIP switches enable or disable Broadcast Storm Protection and Quality of Service (QoS) for enhanced control. The switches are also compliant with PROFINET Conformance Class A (CC-A), supporting industrial automation protocols.
