Moxa EDS-205A Series - Compact 5-Port Unmanaged Ethernet Switches for Industrial Environments

The Moxa EDS-205A Series includes 5-port unmanaged Ethernet switches designed for reliable performance in harsh industrial applications. Supporting 10/100BaseT(X) and optional 100BaseFX fiber interfaces (multi-mode or single-mode, SC or ST), these switches comply with IEEE 802.3, 802.3u, and 802.3x standards.

Equipped with dual redundant 12/24/48 VDC power inputs, an IP30-rated aluminum housing, and certifications for hazardous locations (Class I Div. 2, ATEX Zone 2), transportation (EN 50121-4, NEMA TS2), and maritime applications (DNV, LR, ABS, NK), the EDS-205A Series is suitable for a wide range of critical environments. The -T models support extended operating temperatures from -40 to 75 °C.

For added flexibility, DIP switches allow users to enable Broadcast Storm Protection and Quality of Service (QoS) features. The switches are also compliant with PROFINET Conformance Class A (CC-A) for seamless integration in PROFINET networks.
