The Moxa EDR-810 Series is a high-performance 8+2G industrial multiport secure router that integrates a firewall, VPN gateway, NAT, and Layer 2 managed switch. It is designed to provide electronic perimeter protection for mission-critical control systems such as water treatment, oil and gas DCS platforms, and factory SCADA/PLC networks.

The router offers stateful firewall policies, IPsec VPN tunnels, and Network Address Translation (NAT) to shield internal networks. It also includes PacketGuard for protocol-level inspection of industrial traffic, such as Modbus TCP, EtherNet/IP, EtherCAT, and more. The Quick Automation Profile allows engineers to apply security policies for common automation protocols with a single click.

Configuration is simplified with the WAN Routing Quick Setting wizard, and firewall settings can be audited using the intelligent SettingCheck function. Built-in redundancy is supported via RSTP and Turbo Ring, ensuring network reliability. The -T model supports a wide temperature range of -40 to 75 °C, meeting industry-specific standards like IEC 62443, NERC CIP, and IEC 61162-460 for marine cybersecurity.
