The Moxa CP-602U-I Series provides a reliable and cost-effective CAN interface solution via a Universal PCI bus, supporting both 3.3 V and 5 V signaling. Featuring two independent CAN ports, this board supports both CAN 2.0A and 2.0B protocols with data rates up to 1 Mbps, making it well-suited for a range of industrial automation and embedded applications.
Each port is equipped with 2 kV isolation to protect against electrical surges, and the board uses the NXP SJA1000 CAN controller paired with a PCA82C251 transceiver for robust communication, arbitration, and error handling. LED indicators on each port provide real-time status for transmission and reception, and an optional 120-ohm termination resistor helps maintain signal integrity in CAN bus topologies.
The wide-temperature model, CP-602U-I-T, offers reliable performance in extreme environments ranging from -40 to +85 °C. The board comes with Windows drivers and a full DLL library including sample code, enabling seamless software integration.
