The Moxa CP-132UL Series is engineered for demanding industrial applications that require reliable long-distance multipoint serial communication. These 2-port Universal PCI cards offer RS-422/485 support with high-speed data transfer up to 921.6 kbps. In RS-485 mode, they can daisy-chain up to 31 devices across distances of up to 1.2 km.

A key feature is ADDC® (Automatic Data Direction Control), which handles RS-485 signal direction automatically, simplifying implementation and reducing software overhead. For environments that demand protection from electrical interference, the CP-132UL-I variant includes 2 kV isolation. The MD1 low-profile form factor fits compact PC systems.
