The Moxa CP-118EL-A is a smart 8-port PCI Express serial board tailored for POS, ATM, and industrial automation systems. Its low-profile design makes it ideal for space-limited enclosures – from shoebox PCs to embedded systems.

Each port can be independently configured for RS-232, RS-422, or RS-485 (2-wire or 4-wire). Supporting high-speed communication up to 921.6 kbps with 128-byte FIFO buffers, the CP-118EL-A ensures fast and reliable data transmission. Built-in LEDs on every port simplify diagnostics and maintenance.

Fully compliant with PCI Express 1.0, the board requires only a 3.3 VDC power input and fits into any PCIe slot (x1 and above). It also includes drivers for all major operating systems including Windows, Linux, and UNIX.
