The CB-602I Series from Moxa is a high-reliability 2-port CAN interface module designed for PC/104-Plus systems used in industrial automation and embedded applications. Supporting CAN 2.0A and 2.0B protocols, the module delivers data rates up to 1 Mbps, while 2 kV electrical isolation ensures protection against voltage surges and electromagnetic interference.
The module features two independent CAN ports, each with dedicated Tx/Rx LED indicators for easy status monitoring. A 120-ohm termination resistor can be optionally applied to support proper CAN bus line termination. Internally, the module uses the NXP SJA1000 controller and PCA82C251 transceiver, providing reliable bus arbitration and error detection.
A wide-temperature model (CB-602I-T) is available, capable of operating in harsh conditions from -40 to 85°C. Windows driver support is provided along with a DLL library and example code, making it easy to develop and integrate your own CAN-based applications.
