The MGate 5105-MB-EIP is an industrial Ethernet gateway that facilitates communication between Modbus RTU/ASCII/TCP and EtherNet/IP for IIoT applications, including integration with cloud services like Azure and Alibaba Cloud via MQTT. It acts as a Modbus master or slave to retrieve and exchange data with EtherNet/IP devices. The gateway stores the most recent data and converts it into EtherNet/IP packets so that scanners can monitor or control Modbus devices. With MQTT and secure cloud connectivity, it offers scalable remote monitoring solutions such as energy and asset management.

Configuration is simple via the built-in web console, eliminating the need for extra software. Diagnostics and communication analysis tools assist with troubleshooting. For reliability, the device features redundant power inputs. A microSD slot enables easy configuration backup and deployment to multiple units.
