For coupling devices, switchgear and machine controls MIROSENS offers special industrial-grade fiber optic media converters with standardized serial interfaces.
Special converters for RS-232, RS-422 and RS-485 interfaces are available. The RS-485 transformer is compatible with various industrial fieldbus systems such as Profibus, Bitbus, Interbus.
The implementation is transparent, so that no adjustment to the data rate to be transmitted is necessary.
An integrated bracket enables direct mounting on 35 mm top-hat rails. The components are powered via an external 24 V DC connection. A second power terminal is used to connect to a redundant power supply.
For flexible bus installation, the converters have parallel connection terminals in addition to the SUBD-9 connection.
External alarm signaling systems can be connected via potential-free contacts, which can trigger certain actions in the event of an error.
