The MICROSENS Fast Ethernet Bridge PC Card 10/100Base-TX/100Base-FX is a compact and versatile solution for seamlessly connecting copper and fiber optic networks. It enables network expansion over long distances while combining modern bridging functionalities with simple configuration. Supporting both multimode and singlemode fiber optic connections, the bridge offers impressive ranges of up to 2 km (multimode) or 15 km (singlemode) in full-duplex mode.
The Fast Ethernet Bridge PC Card is powered via an internal PC power supply or USB port and supports both crossed and uncrossed RJ-45 patch cables through its Autocrossing feature. The integrated Link Fault Pass Through functionality ensures reliable connection monitoring by automatically communicating link faults to the counterpart device. This feature, along with other operating modes and duplex settings, can be controlled using DIP switches.
With its compact design, including a low-profile option, the bridge is ideal for desktop installations and other space-saving applications.
