The MICROSENS plug-in module enables bidirectional, protocol-transparent coupling from multimode (MM) to singlemode (SM) fiber, allowing for flexible and efficient expansion of existing network infrastructures. Direct signal transmission ensures optimal bandwidth utilization while minimizing latency.

Supporting transmission speeds of up to 1.25 Gbit/s, this module is designed for installation in MICROSENS Access Chassis. Optional remote management capabilities allow for centralized monitoring and control. Depending on the variant, transmission distances of up to 125 km can be achieved, making it ideal for wide area networks (WAN) and inter-site connections.

Additionally, adaptation to special interfaces is possible to meet specific network and infrastructure requirements.
