This MICROSENS plug-in module enables transparent, bidirectional coupling from multimode (MM) to singlemode (SM) fiber, allowing for flexible expansion of existing network infrastructures. With protocol-transparent transmission, the original signal format is preserved, ensuring direct communication without conversion losses.

Supporting transmission speeds of up to 1.25 Gbit/s, this module is designed for installation in MICROSENS Access Chassis. Optional remote management capabilities simplify centralized monitoring and control. The direct transmission method ensures optimal bandwidth utilization with minimal latency.

Depending on the variant, distances of up to 125 km can be achieved, making this module ideal for connecting remote locations or expanding wide area networks (WANs). Additionally, adaptation to special interfaces is possible to meet specific requirements.
