The MSP 800 Managed Fast Ethernet Bridge Module offers a reliable and flexible solution for converting Twisted-Pair to fiber optic connections and is specifically designed for modern network infrastructures. It is part of the modular MSP800 platform, which includes a variety of functional modules for LAN, WAN, telecommunications, and industrial applications. The core architecture of the MSP800 platform is based on a chassis designed for 48,3 cm ( 19 inch ) racks, with power supplied via a backplane. An optional redundant power supply can be installed for increased reliability.

The bridge module enables remote management and conversion between 10/100Base-TX (RJ-45) and 100Base-FX (fiber optic) interfaces. Configuration can be done either manually via DIP switches or through the MSP800 management module. The module supports both multimode and single-mode fiber options, making it suitable for networks with high bandwidth requirements and extended coverage.
