The high-performance amplifier for MSP1000 applications is specifically designed for use in the DWDM sector. It is integrated into the MSP1000 4U chassis, occupying two module slots. The amplifier boosts the aggregate signal within the wavelength range of 1529 nm to 1565 nm (DWDM C-band) while remaining independent of the transmitted services, supporting data rates of up to 40 Gbit/s. Thanks to the combination of booster and pre-amp functionality with an integrated gain flattening filter, consistent signal amplification is ensured. Additionally, a built-in monitoring port allows for easy signal quality monitoring.
