The Fast Ethernet (FE) SFP Transceivers from MICROSENS provide a compact and reliable solution for data transmission in networks with bandwidths up to 155 Mbps. These modules are ideal for a variety of applications, supporting Fast Ethernet, the STM-1 protocol, and (model-dependent) OC-3. They are available in Multimode, Singlemode, and WDM variants, offering maximum flexibility in network configuration.
Thanks to the Small Form Factor Pluggable (SFP) design, the transceivers enable space-saving installations on line cards and are hot-swappable, allowing replacement during operation without disrupting the network. Standardized specifications according to Multi Source Agreement (MSA) ensure seamless integration into compatible network devices. Models with Digital Diagnostic Monitoring (DDM) allow detailed operational data monitoring.
The modules are designed for a wide range of transmission distances, from 2 km (Multimode) to 40 km (Singlemode). For industrial applications, special versions with an extended operating temperature range of -40 °C to +85 °C are available. WDM models (Simplex) allow bidirectional data transmission over a single fiber, utilizing different wavelengths for transmission and reception.
