The Modbus module with 4 analog inputs was developed for decentralized switching tasks. Currents and voltages can be recorded, e.g. from active temperature sensors, electric ventilation and mixing flaps, valve controls, etc. Each input can be set as either a current or voltage input using a DIP switch on the front. With a Modbus master, the inputs can be queried using standard registers. The module address, bit rate and parity are set using 2 rotary switches on the front or via software.
