Power supply simply via the Ethernet cable: PoE is a standards-based technology that specifies how power is transmitted together with data via standard Ethernet LAN cables. The standard describes IEEE 802.3af with up to 15.4W power per device and IEEE 802.3at with up to 30W per device. By fulfilling the IEEE 802.3af and IEEE 802.3at standards, the LCS-P302 from Longshine offers interoperability and compatibility with other standards-based PoE devices. The PoE technology used in the LCS-P302 allows you to place devices such as WLAN APs, IP surveillance cameras and IP telephones exactly where they are needed. As the devices are supplied with power directly via Ethernet cables, no separate power supply units are required. There is no need for electrical engineers to install expensive AC sockets on ceilings or roofs. The LCS-P302 is easy to operate; no configuration is required.
