The Protistor fuse link offers maximum flexibility in equipment design and ultimate protection for today's power converter systems. This fuse was developed for partial semiconductor protection to protect converter UPS systems, motors and similar devices from the effects of overloads. The fuse is made up of pure silver and punched elements embedded in hardened sand and thus offers protection against electric arcs. All contact surfaces are silver-coated and the entire fuse is non-magnetic. The NH fuse link is of vertical design, with screw lugs at 80mm pitch and is equipped with a function indicator, which in addition to its visual display function can also be used to remotely report the fuse function using an additional microswitch.
