The ÖLFLEX® CLASSIC 110 CH 4G0,5 N is a highly flexible control cable specifically designed for applications with moderate mechanical stress. It is ideally suited for fixed installation as well as occasional movements without tensile stress, for example in building wiring where special fire protection requirements apply. Thanks to its halogen-free, highly flame-retardant HFFR outer sheath, it reduces the risk of fire spread, high smoke density, and toxic smoke gases in the event of a fire. The cable is specifically designed for environments where electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) is required, and offers effective protection against interference thanks to the copper shielding braid with high coverage. Its oil resistance according to DIN EN 50363-4-1 (TM5) as well as UL OIL RES I and OIL RES II makes it suitable for industrial environments with aggressive media. With a test voltage of 4000 V and a rated voltage of U0/U: 300/500 V, it ensures high electrical safety. The cable is UL recognized and thus approved for use in the North American market, and also features a DNV approval for marine use, highlighting its universal applicability. Its very flexible design enables easy handling and installation, even at temperatures down to -30 °C. It is suitable for temporary outdoor use, provided the temperature range is observed, and is resistant to acids and alkalis. Conductor identification is done by numbers, which simplifies installation and maintenance. The cable is universally applicable for wiring of machine-internal and plant-wide control circuits, and reduces component variety through its multiple certifications, thereby lowering logistics costs.
