The KUNZER 72160 is a specialized tool designed for safe and efficient strut and shock absorber replacement on most passenger cars and light commercial vehicles. This support device is attached to the wheel hub using two lug bolts or wheel studs and, in combination with a transmission jack (30 mm standard shaft), ensures stable support of the front control arms or rear transverse and longitudinal links. A flexible joint on the lower shaft of the tool enables secure positioning at the camber angle of the wheel flange or axle. By lifting and lowering, struts and shock absorbers can be optimally supported and positioned for removal or installation, eliminating the need for a second person.
