Incredible speeds and rock-solid reliability.
Kingston's A400 solid-state drive boots your system incredibly quickly, significantly improving its response times, and loading and transferring files significantly faster than mechanical hard drives. It is equipped with a state-of-the-art controller capable of reading and writing speeds of up to 500MB /s and 450MB/s*. This SSD is 10 times faster than a traditional hard drive*, ensures maximum performance, ultra-fast response times when multitasking and accelerates the system overall.
The A400 is flash memory-based and therefore more reliable and durable than one Hard drive. It contains no moving parts, making it less prone to errors than a mechanical hard drive. It also runs cooler and quieter, and its resistance to shock and vibration make it ideal for notebooks and other mobile computing devices.
To ensure you have enough space for all your applications, videos, photos and other important documents, the A400 is available in a range of storage capacities from 120GB to 960GB. This drive is large enough to store all your files on it, replacing your hard drive or a smaller SSD.
This SSD is designed for the load conditions of PCs and notebooks; it is not suitable for server environments.
- Fast boot, load and transfer files
- Faster and more durable than any hard drive
- Various storage capacities with plenty of space for applications or as a hard drive replacement
*Based on “out-of-box performance” using a SATA Rev. 3.0 motherboards. Speeds may
vary depending on host hardware, software and usage. Random read/write (4KB) in IOMETER is based on 8GB partition.
The storage capacities listed on flash memory are not fully available for data storage as some are used for formatting or other functions. Therefore, the actual available storage capacity is slightly less than stated on the products. For more information, see Kingston's Flash Memory Guide at kingston.com/flashguide.
