Further information for Jung WS10KS - Combined sensor WS 10 KS
The combination sensor records weather data such as wind speed, precipitation and brightness separately for the east, south and west directions. It is suitable for outdoor installation on a mast or on a wall. The measurement data is transmitted to the weather station via a 4-wire cable. The parameters and the evaluation of the data itself are carried out in the weather station. The operational reliability of the wind and rain sensor is of particular importance and is therefore monitored cyclically. The heating of the combination sensor protects the electronics from dew and condensation in the specified temperature range. It does not protect against icing of the housing or moving parts. To protect against moisture ingress, the 10 m long connection cable (6-core) is connected directly to the device.
The combination sensor requires the power supply item no.: WSSV 10 to operate. Sensor unit
