The break-away RJ45 adapter protects network devices and sockets against tensile loads. It is plugged between a standard patch cable and the end device or the RJ45 wall socket and releases at a defined pull force before sockets or plugs are damaged. This keeps Ethernet ports operational and reduces downtime.
