Technical data:

Special silicone hose cable with increased heat resistance based on DIN VDE 0250 Part 1 and DIN VDE 0285-525-2-83/ DIN EN 50525-2-83
Temperature range -60°C to +180°C (briefly +220°C)
Limit temperature on the conductor during operation +180°C
Nominal voltage U0/U 300/500 V
Test voltage 2000 V
Breakdown voltage min. 5000 V
Insulation resistance min. 200 MOhm x km
Current carrying capacity at ambient temperature up to +145°C according to DIN VDE 0100 for higher temperatures applies: 150°C - load capacity 100% 155°C - load capacity 91% 160°C - load capacity 82% 165°C - load capacity 71% 170°C - Load capacity 58% 175°C - Load capacity 41%
Minimum bending radius moving 10x cable Ø not moving 5x cable Ø
Radiation resistance up to 20x106 cJ/kg (up to 20 Mrad)
Structure:
Tinned copper wire, according to DIN VDE 0295 cl.5, fine-wire, BS 6360 cl.5, IEC 60228 cl.5
Core insulation made of silicone rubber
Core identification according to DIN VDE 0293-308 with white number print
Cores stranded in layers with optimal lay lengths
Sheath made of silicone rubber
Glass silk tape wrapping
Braid made of galvanized steel wires
Properties:
Advantages hardly any changes in dielectric strength and insulation resistance even at higher temperatures, high flash point, leaves behind insulating SiO2 in the event of fire
Resistant to high molecular oils, vegetable and animal fats, Alcohols, plasticizers and clophen, diluted acids, alkalis and salt solutions, oxidizing agents, tropical influences, oxygen, ozone
. If installed permanently, only in open, ventilated pipe systems or ducts. Otherwise, the mechanical properties of silicone will be reduced if there is no air in connection with temperatures above 90°C.
Tests:
Corrosiveness of fire gases according to DIN VDE 0482 Part 267, DIN EN 50267-2-2, IEC 60754-2 (corresponds to DIN VDE 0472 Part 813)
Burning behavior no fire spread according to DIN VDE 0482-332-1-2, DIN EN 60332-1-2, IEC 60332-1
Use:
Silicone cables are used wherever cable insulation is exposed to high temperature fluctuations. Due to their excellent weather resistance, they can be used at both high and low temperatures down to -60°C. Particularly for use in power stations. Also in iron and steel works, rolling mills, foundries, aircraft construction and shipbuilding, as well as in cement, glass and ceramics factories, in headlights and high-performance lamps and heating devices of all kinds. The shielding ensures interference-free transmission of signals and pulses.
Standard lengths: 100 m, 500 m, 1000 m.
Subject to technical changes.
