For potentially explosive areas as a flexible control cable for intrinsically safe circuits/systems, this paired cable complies with VDE regulation 0165, part 1, section 12. 2. 2. 6, according to which cables and lines in ignition protection type -i- must be specially marked. It is used for secure data transmission. The paired stranding and overall copper shielding offer protection against electrical interference pulses. EMC = Electromagnetic compatibility To optimize the EMC properties, we recommend a large-area, all-round contact on both sides of the copper braid.
