Basic version of frequency converter without sine filter for controlling the speed of a single fan. The speed is set using the 0-10 V control signal (e.g. potentiometer PU/PA, accessory). Maximum cable length between FU-B and fan 10 m with shielded cable. The fan must be designed for operation with a frequency converter (EMC-compatible fan/motor, possibly special version). The frequency converter is permanently set to its rated current. For FU-B operation, the frequency converter suitability must be specified when ordering the fan.
