The meter connection column meets the requirements of DIN VDE 0603-1 (VDE 0603-1):2017-06 in conjunction with DIN VDE 0603-2-1 (VDE 0603-2-1):2017-06.
Furthermore, the system is constructed based on the applicable application guidelines of VDE-AR-N 4100:2019-04 including the associated correction VDE-AR-N 4100 Ber 1:2019. Additional components can be used to expand the base column into a ready-to-connect meter connection column of the corresponding VNB.
Profiled housing in a ribbed design. Door with an opening angle of 180 degrees when free-standing and 90 degrees when mounted in series. Right-hand door can be removed. Locking with a swivel lever and three-point bascule lock with 1 or 2 profile half cylinders. Built-in cylinder at the bottom with a same-key series. A second locking cylinder (e.g. from a VNB locking system) can be installed at the top after removing the square lock. If a second profile half cylinder is not installed, the second upper opening must be fitted with a blind lock.
Ventilation takes place via labyrinth-like ventilation ducts, prevents the ingress of foreign bodies and is poke-proof. Meter connection columns are built according to the technical guideline: outdoor connection cabinets/connection of fixed switch and control cabinets and meter connection columns to the VNB low-voltage network.
The installation consists of protectively insulated meter fields DIN 43870 (functional areas) for meters. Meter locations are prepared for an IP54 cover. The buried base and meter connection column form a unit. A floor grate is recommended. To prevent condensation, the base should be filled with base filler up to the height of the cable fastening rail.
