The Grandstream GXP2140 is a corded SIP telephone designed for use in business environments, suitable for frequent users due to its versatile functions and support for multiple communication protocols. The device features a 4.3 inch TFT colour display with a resolution of 480x272 pixels, displaying information and call data. Operation is performed via 4 line keys and 5 XML-programmable keys, which can be individually configured according to usage requirements. The integrated Bluetooth connection enables pairing with compatible headsets and mobile devices, allowing for flexible use. Support for EHS (Electronic Hook Switch) ensures compatibility with Plantronics headsets, enabling call answering and termination directly from the headset.

Applications

The GXP2140 is designed for use in small and medium-sized enterprises as well as business networks requiring reliable and scalable VoIP telephony. It is particularly suitable for workstations where frequent calls, conferences, and use of advanced functions such as BLF (Busy Lamp Field) or Speed-Dial are required. The ability to connect up to four GXP2200EXT expansion modules extends functionality to up to 160 speed dial keys, enabling call control and monitoring of presence status of other endpoints.

The telephone features two Gigabit Ethernet ports, enabling network connectivity at speeds of 10/100/1000 Mbps. The integrated PoE function (Power over Ethernet) supplies power to the device via the network cable, eliminating the need for a separate power supply during installation. Automated provisioning via TR-069 or encrypted XML configuration files simplifies setup and integration into existing systems. For security, various settings are available, including TLS, SRTP, and HTTPS, to protect communication.

The integrated Bluetooth function enables wireless connection to compatible headsets, keeping hands free.
