METRAVOLT VT 1500 is a two-pole, digitally displaying
voltage tester, combined with a continuity, phase and rotating field tester. With this you can safely determine the presence and level of alternating or direct voltage from 0 V to 1000 V AC / 1500 V DC at frequencies up to 2 kHz.
With the integrated continuity tester you can also measure resistances in the range from 0 to 999 k¿. Voltage and resistance values are displayed digitally on an LC display.
In addition, LEDs and the display color red indicate voltage and rotating field direction that are dangerous to touch.
Features
Fully automatic measuring process
The voltage tester switches on automatically when a voltage of 12 V or more is applied. The associated voltage measuring range and voltage type are set automatically. If an external voltage > 12 V is detected, the device automatically switches from the continuity test to the voltage test. To conserve the battery, the device switches off automatically about 30 seconds after the last measurement.
Storage of measured values
You can 'hold' the displayed measured value on the LC display by pressing the HOLD button.
Self-test and battery check
The self-test enables all display elements and device functions to be checked. A necessary battery change is signaled automatically.
Battery display
The current status of the battery is shown on the three-stage battery display in the display.
Robust housing
The impact-resistant and dust-proof plastic housing makes the device almost indestructible. The display panel is secured by a break-proof cover. Thanks to its high protection class (IP 65), the device can also be used in precipitation.
High safety
A high level of electrical safety is achieved through series resistors in the two test probes. Sales unit: 1 ST.
