The Epson Discproducer features 6 color, high-capacity, and dye based ink cartridges instead of the more common four. With just one set of high-capacity ink cartridges, printing 1000 or more discs without changing cartridges is possible.

In addition, ink level status is shown with LED readout for each color to prevent running out of ink while printing.
