ELSYS VMC Sensor
Overview
The Teros 12 determines volumetric water content (VWC) by measuring the dielectric constant of media using capacitance/frequency domain technology. Its 70MHz frequency minimizes salinity and texture effects, making this sensor accurate in almost any soil or soilless media. Factory calibrations are included for mineral soils, potting soils, rock wool and perlite.
Note: This sensor has 4V voltage and requires the ELT-MOD-5V module (208399)
