The EL3052 analog input terminal is designed to supply measuring transducers in the field and to transmit analog measurement signals to the automation device in a galvanically isolated manner. The supply voltage for the sensors is fed to the terminal via the power contacts. The power contacts can be supplied either via the standard supply or via a feed terminal (EL9xxx) with galvanic isolation for the operating voltage. The input electronics are independent of the supply voltage of the power contacts. The reference potential for the inputs is the 0 V power contact. The EtherCAT terminal displays its signal status using LEDs. The error LEDs signal overload and wire breakage.
