Is there only one door that needs to be equipped with access control? Then SCALA solo is exactly the right thing. In private areas such as single-family and multi-family homes, in smaller properties such as workshops, shared offices or law firms, SCALA solo is the perfect entry-level solution for access control. It consists of the SCALA mini controller, which can be integrated into any standard switch box in the house, and a reader. Instead of keys, the door is opened using ID cards, PINs or a security-optimized combination of ID and PIN. Access authorizations can be easily configured using a keypad with a master code. With the SCALA solo version, up to 99 codes or cards can be assigned for a single door: for family members, employees, suppliers or visitors. If authorizations are no longer required for a code or ID card, both can be deleted specifically and easily.|The SCALA solo set consisting of mini controller and SCALA solo PIN reader is supplied as a plug & play device. The user does not need a PC or software for operation and administration and can start using access control immediately. A reader, door opener and door monitoring contact are connected to the mini controller. The mini controller can easily be used later as a door module in higher-level solutions, such as when expanding the system to SCALA web or SCALA net.
