The cable is UV-resistant, metal-free, longitudinally watertight and rodent-proof with a tensile strength of 5.0kN. The sheath is made of halogen-free, flame-retardant material in accordance with IEC 60332-1, IEC 60754-2, IEC 61034 and Eurofire class Eca.
For indoor and outdoor use, both in direct burial (in a suitable sand bed) and in pipes and as a flame-retardant cable indoors.
The stranded loose tube arrangement of the fibers allows a compact and high fiber concentration cable structure. The fiber optic cable exceeds the requirements of EN 50 173-1, ISO 11801 2nd edition, IEC 60794-2.
